Every student at Loudenslager Elementary School receives a minimum of 45 minutes of Art instruction every other week. Students participate in hands-on art projects including model creation, painting, and free hand drawing in addition to instruction on art style and history.
Every student at Loudenslager receives a minimum of 45 minutes of General Music Instruction every other week. Students participating in General Music learn about the history of specific music styles, basic knowledge about notes and beats and how they are used to form a song, and learn to sing school appropriate songs. Additionally, students at each grade level perform twice a year at the Winter and Spring Music Concerts.
The Instrumental Band Program serves students in grades 4-6 at Loudenslager Elementary School. Students participating in the Instrumental Band Program receive individualized and group band instruction each week, and will perform in a Winter and Spring Music Concert.
Instrumental Band Resources
The Loudenslager STEAM Program is a whole school initiative aimed at providing our students with unique educational experiences related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Music. The STEAM Center at Loudenslager is a brand new facility including some new and exciting technology. Students at Loudenslager will receive at least 90 Minutes of STEAM and Technology Instruction each week as part of their special area schedule.
